A few weeks ago, I tweeted out to my universal fitfam asking the question on whether there had been any success on mixing protein powder and coffee together. There was a lot of interest in the question, but no one seemed to have answers. Until now. I had a very successful afternoon in my test kitchen and just could not wait to share the results with you all! This is exactly what I did:
New Orleans is incredible. I have been twice now- one for business and a bit of pleasure and another time for my Honeymoon. The first trip was in the heat of the summer- late July & it was so hot and humid that my husband had to go to the French Market to buy quite a few extra shirts because we had to change our clothes a couple times a day because of the sweat. That might not sound appealing to you, but we could not resist walking the streets of NOLA, dipping in to the different places to shop and eat to cool off and explore. We also had the opportunity to catch the Satchmo Festival where the music and the people were so fun.
For all of my fellow coffee drinkers...you know how good it is to have amazing coffee on hand during the holidays. Whether it is that cup of coffee on Thanksgiving after your afternoon nap or during your dessert time...that cup of coffee to get you on your way while you head to see family during the break...or that beloved cup of coffee you have while you enjoy Christmas morning. Picture this: It is a beautiful, crisp morning and you are drinking a hot, delicious cup of coffee that is full of good karma. Doesn't that sound like a good way to wake up? I thought so :) I have been looking for sustainable products to share because they are the true Trifecta of my message...to feed your mind, body, and soul at the same time. Tiny Footprint Coffee tastes incredible. I like light, medium, and dark roasts but decided to try the medium roast. The taste was full and rich, and probably could easily beat Starbucks in a blind taste-test. Just reading the bag of coffee made me feel good: It takes them 4 pounds of carbon to make a pound of coffee, so they plant 54 pounds of carbon sucking trees...creating 50 pounds of good karma in every bag.
